California State Law requires that you have Carbon Monoxide detectors property installed. All single-family homes, condos and 2-4 unit properties must have a CO detector located on each level of the dwelling. The unit must be installed outside of each separate sleeping area within the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms. For additional information, please see the following link:
